Def not as good as other books, they had like 3 interactions in the book and she realized she loves him
I read this twice before writing a review. The first reading was more chaotic and I missed little details that were important later. I feel like there were more loose threads and more cliffhangers than any of Nevada's books. I have complete faith in Ilona Andrews, but the wait for the next book is going to be horrible.

[3.5 Stars] Is it weird that I prefer Nevada and Rogan to Catalina and Alessandro? Even though I have a love/hate relationship with Rogan, he is vastly more interesting.
Catalina is an interesting character with promise, but something about her just doesn’t exactly click for me. The romance also felt rather forced. Relationship aside, I did enjoy jumping back into this world. It’s one of my favorites! I also hope we see more of Runa!

The book was great. I liked everything and I already loved the characters. The family aspect and the pacing never disappoints in this series. I liked the romantic relationship as well. It was very realistic no instant anything , two sane and respectful adults that know when to enter a relationship and when should they stop. I think I will like Alessandro more than Rogan
