I read this in one sitting and it was a breath of fresh air. Alessandro is a welcome addition and his connection with Catalina is believable.

not as big a fan of the alessandro/catalina romance as the rogan/nevada romance. so ended up just fast forwarding through the one on one scenes. but im interested to see how the layers unravel as the series goes on.

Didn't feel like the balance of dark/intense and funny/cute was as good in this one as previous. Wished it had more Cornelius and Matilda. i liked runa and Ragnar but they just weren't as cute most of the time. Love Catalina and her voice, and super interested to figure out what's going on with Alessandro's backstory and magic!
