Diving back into the enchanting world of banished fae princes, the so-called Never King, the dark one and his Vicious Darling for the very last time, this installment finally ties up some loose ends that had been lingering since the first three books. I found the storyline to be more cohesive this time around, with a clear direction towards its conclusion.
With Pan, Vane, and the twins by her side, Winnie evolves into an even stronger force to be reckoned with. While her character arc throughout the series wasn't exactly what I expected, I appreciated the new layer to her personality and the different perspective it ultimately added to the story.
Speaking of the twins, Kas and Bash, it was gratifying to see them, just like Winnie, receive more recognition beyond just being banned fae princes who were into spice. Their dedication to the Lost Boys found family shines through, as they navigate the complexities of Neverland politics and make difficult decisions for the greater good. And let's not forget about Pan's growth throughout the book – it's truly admirable to witness him find his true self and emerge as the strongest version of himself yet. Unfortunately, I think Vane was overshadowed in this installment by all the other characters.
The real star of this book was definitely The Crocodile, and I am eager to read the story of Roc, Hook and Wendy Darling!
With more action-packed battles and clever strategizing than ever before (not to mention the obligatory steamy scenes), this installment kept me thoroughly entertained from start to finish. This was again 3.75-4 stars, but I will gladly round up.

This was a good ending for their story
E-BOOK
This book was fine, but I got about halfway and lost interest in the series. I'm ready for something happy and warm.

"I thought love was something you had to wait for, quietly, desperately, and that sometimes even when you waited, it would come to you in only pain."
Two stars for the simple fact that it's my least favorite out of the series.
"Their Vicious Darling" was my favorite and this just didn't live up to it. It was okay, but missing that secret ingredient she puts in all her books.
I did like the way it ended, it was a nice close to Winnie and the boys' story.
With that being said, I am SO EXCITED for the next book. Roc and Hook are two of my favorite characters and I CANNOT WAIT to read their story.

This was a very quick read. We’re talking like a few hours. I feel this could have really been longer the whole thing felt a bit rushed and honestly this was my least favorite of the series which really bums me out.
