I stopped reading this half way through when I realized I was incredibly bored and felt a sense of dejavu. It's like I've read this story a hundred times. It's not original or interesting enough to make it feel like a unique story. I finally finished it after a few days, and it's mid. It's not terrible, but it's not in any way new. I've read several series that have handled these similar tropes, but in a way that makes it feel new again. This just feels tired. I have the full series, but I'm not sure I'll continue. If I do it'll be because of my compulsive reading habits.

I went through so many emotions and thoughts reading this volume... 90% of them being “AH MY POOR CHIHIRO DESERVES EVERY HAPPINESS IN THE WORLD”

4/5 Star read

Everything's going at a really steady pace in the group. We're not jumping from A to X, but getting a nice progression of Midori and her relationship between all 3 boys. I kind of wish the crush wasn't as one-sided between Midori and Chihiro so it feels like it's something we can actually invest ourselves into, but right now it's pretty clear that the real relationship that'll happen is between Midori and Rei. I'm fine with that, but if we're gonna have a love-triangle, lets commit to it.

I did however really like all of the stuff that happened at the beach. Nice to see the boys work and get some perspective and that it pushed Midori's relationship with Rei and Chihiro further.

I liked seeing the growth of these characters. I plan to keep reading and eventually. Yoko Nogiri will forever be my auto read and buy author for manga. This makes the 3rd series for them that I either really like or have loved. I can't wait for the next one.

I can’t stand how obsessed I am with everything that’s going on. I love the change of scenery too, these always push the plot forward. And that last panel!!!! Omg 😊🫶.
