Pretty much the exact same book as the previous one.

I was worried after being in the situation with the Akai that falling for a V'loryn might be an issue. I should have trusted Jessica Grayson more. This sequel does not fall victim to the curse of the follow up in a series. I loved it and may have (totally did) added Ms. Grayson's entire backlist to my TBR list.

I had such high hopes for the second book but it felt like a repeat of the first with slightly different characters. I found myself skipping a lot of stuff because I already knew what was going to come. I wish it had been written in a different way but connected at the same time. Can't bring myself to read the third book it would be more of the same.
