Finally!

I won't go into why I titled my review the way I did, it will be obvious by the end of the book. This book was a little slow to get going but ends in an exciting way.

(ARC from NetGalley) Honestly, biggest issue I had was that I had no idea this was a sequel . It didn’t really affect the plot, but I missed some character connections. I think you’d like this is you’re a fan or Finlay Donovan (aka suburban crime). Genuinely funny while tackling some harder issues about classism.

Meh.

Would have been better if it didn't include racist comments.

I admit I picked this up only because of the title and didn't look into it, so I was a bit lost at first - this is the 2nd of a series.
I understand why, but I didn't enjoy the over sharing of how much everything costs (cars, jewelry) and there is too much talk about thin being "good".
Overall this was entertaining and kept my attention all day while cleaning house and working out (listened on audio).  The mystery is more about the how and the proving it, then the who which is a dynamic that I don't read a lot so that was interesting.
