Great ending to a fantastic series! I love how these books have such a fast-paced, action-packed plot while also having an amazing group of characters. Roar might be one of the best sidecharacters ever. This triology quickly became one of my favourite series with a very satisfying conclusion.
I cried. I cried so much and I still feel a little depressed. I think a few things would have been nice, like an epilogue so I could see a year or two after they'd settled, or even to see Perry and Arias first night in the house they were building. I just think it ending with Aria talking to someone and not actually being with Perry after everything that'd happened to lead up to the end made me a tad sad and would have made me a bit happier after the sadness. But then it'd mean it's probably just the romance not the story so I guess it's fine.
Lots of travelling, people dying by Sables hand, and yes revenge was sweet. I'm shocked but not shocked at Lorans part in this story as I forgot all about that being something that could come up, but I'm glad it did.
Loved the way they chose to set up their new world, but I wish it went a little further so I could see how it was. I mean, the counsel, great, they're building houses, great. But that's all I got and I want more.
Also, I was correct, the Brooke novella wasn't necessary and she even re'apologises' and clears the air with Aria (now that she'll be awake to hear it) in this book anyway.

What a great ending to such an amazing series! This book was action packed and had me on the edge of my seat with wondering what would happen next!
I have really come to love Perry, Aria and Roar. They have such a wonderful friendship. And the romance between Aria and Perry was so sweet.
Into The Still Blue had some wonderful swoon worthy moments and a twist that I did not expect. I am so sad that this is the end of their story, but what an amazing end it is!

I mean. Okay.
I finally finished this series. But I never really got the sense that it was something truly special. The ship is okay, and at least not complicated by a love triangle. Roar is awesome, and I love his friendship with Aria. There are some suspenseful and tragic moments. But yeah.
The world is so barren that in terms of worldbuilding I don't have much to hold on to. And we don't really get much background info about how it came to this state either. I guess that's fair because to the characters it was so long ago. But now with the Still Blue, maybe I was still hoping to get some answers or something. But no. Not really. This is just a survival story, and that's it.
I felt some other holes in the story as well, but that may have been because I stopped paying close attention. Like, And Sable was such an obvious bad guy. But just like over the top bad. That you can't believe people actually follow him and some would still trust him when striking deals with him and shit.
I dunno.
I just don't know.

Spoiler
when did Aria tell Perry about her father? And in my recollections he had like no reaction on page to that, which I found weird.I dunno.
I just don't know.
This series is (I'm sure you guys are bored of me saying this by now) a series that got worse as it went on. The books were reasonably good at the start, but they deflated slightly. I still finished them, but not with a lot of care for the characters. A basic but still good to read book.
What a great ending to a series. It would be amazing to get more books to the series although I loved how it left off with an actual happy ending. The ending chapter was so great and I enjoyed how it ended with two great friends instead of the lovers.Roar and Aria were my favorites of the characters.I enjoyed their friendship as it grew through the three books. It was a pretty action packed, suspenseful read. The adventure is tremendous and the world that is built throughout the books is beautiful and unique.I loved the whole series but read through the last book very quickly I was so hooked that I could not put it down.Great series, great ending!
Whew. Reading this series was like a ride down a crappy playground slide. You start out high and optimistic, only to slide down—physically scooting yourself down because the slide and your pink corduroy pants are not working together—and find a big, ugly mud puddle hiding at the bottom. Splash.
Starting out sweet with book one, and ending with a sort of deus ex machina solution here with book three, I barely made it without the benefit of skim-reading. Nothing happened and when it did, everything felt convoluted and forced. This entire series seemed to lack direction.

Perry will always be my favorite dystopian hero. Perry, I love you!
This book turned out to be a lot better than I thought it would! Really surprised about how much I still enjoy these characters! Rossi's style can be clunky and uncomfortable but it really a testiment to the great narrative an characters that it doesn't take away from the enjoyment!
