Hieno seikkalu kaiken kaikkiaan, nautin lukemastani paljon.

Just as amazing and fast-paced as the other books in this beautiful trilogy. Truly unique world building, plot, characters and romance. YOU HAVE TO CHECK THIS OUT!! :) :)
Before you get mad at me... here's the thing.
I KNOW if I would have read this book a few years ago I would have loved it. I love dystopians. I liked this world. I liked the characters. I liked Rossi's writing.
However, things fell apart for me in this final installment. To be honest, my issues started in the last book, but they were heightened in this finale. I feel like the author was using certain characters' plot as unnecessary emotional manipulation. Yikes.
I'm sorry. I wanted to love this. Was convinced I was going to love this series. Honestly, that's probably part of the problem as well. I'm still looking forward to Rossi's future work, her concepts are great, I just hope her plotting has matured a bit.

Into the Still Blue is the final book in the Under the Never Sky series. The situation for Perry, Aria, and The Tides is desperate. The Aether storms are getting worse, their population grew rapidly with the addition of Outsiders, and Sable and Hess have Cinder. Perry and Aria plan a rescue mission, both because Cinder is their friend and because he's their only hope of getting to the Still Blue.
First, these have been some of my favorite covers and titles of a series. The covers have been gorgeous and the titles feel like they belong in a poem. The first two books are some of my favorites as well so I was really excited to received this one. So excited that I set aside the books I was in the middle of so I could read this one.
It didn't disappoint. The only reason it wasn't a one-night read is because I took cold medication before starting to read so I really just couldn't keep my eyes open, though I tried. And tried. This is one of those books where, even though I didn't like or agree with all the decisions the characters made or their reactions to events, I could understand where they were coming from. The action started and just didn't stop(I think I used to have fingernails before this book). I really loved that some of the characters were able to keep me guessing about their motives and intentions.
I loved how obvious the character development of Aria became in this book too. Seeing the rescued Dwellers and their reactions and how Aria reacted to them. Perry and Roar both go through a lot of growing in this book too, and we see a lot more of characters like Brooke and Soren, who both managed to grow on me. And Cinder, oh that boy's been through too much and seen to much for his age. I just wanted to hug him.
After finishing Through the Ever Night, there were so many thoughts in my head about how the finale could end, how I hoped it would end, but after reading Into the Still Blue, I can't imagine it ending any other way. It's such a great finale to a great series and Perry and Aria are one of my favorite couples.

Into the Still Blue continues the story of Aria and Perry and their friends as they journey and battle to find the Still Blue, a place once thought to be a myth, a place that is protected from the Aether storms that ravage the skies and burn up both land and people.
Fighting against the clock, and also the bad guys, Aria and Perry get into all sorts of trouble as they try their hardest to put the pieces of the puzzle together so they can move the Tides – the tribe that Perry is the leader of – away from their caves and through the Aether barrier into paradise, freedom and ultimately their survival. That’s sort of the main gist of this final book, without giving too much away. I daren’t say any more though. Just in case.
This turned out to be longer than I thought. But if you like a good YA, dystopian story with goodies and baddies, bloodshed (but not too gruesomely), heartfelt speeches, a bit of romance, tears and laughter, then I really do recommend grabbing a copy of this series – yup, the entire series – either at the library or just buy it. I will be reading this series again, for sure!

Concluding book in the Under the Never Sky series. I would have liked to see a little more at the conclusion, but overall an interesting YA series. This will probably appeal to those who enjoyed the Divergent series. It is barely sci-fi, more survival/romance with a decent amount of action.
Enjoyed it a lot but something felt like it was missing from the last two books. I just didn't adore them. But I loved Aria and Perry and especially Roar. Great series.
