I want to thank Edelweiss and Harper Collins for providing me with an ecopy of this book to read and give an honest review. Receiving this book for free has in no way influenced my opinion or review.

Blurb from Goodreads:
Their love and their leadership have been tested. Now it's time for Perry and Aria to unite the Dwellers and the Outsiders in one last desperate attempt to bring balance to their world.
The race to the Still Blue has reached a stalemate. Aria and Perry are determined to find this last safe-haven from the Aether storms before Sable and Hess do-and they are just as determined to stay together.
Meanwhile, time is running out to rescue Cinder, who was abducted by Hess and Sable for his unique abilities. And when Roar returns to camp, he is so furious with Perry that he won't even look at him, and Perry begins to feel like they have already lost.
Out of options, Perry and Aria assemble a team to mount an impossible rescue mission-because Cinder isn't just the key to unlocking the Still Blue and their only hope for survival, he's also their friend. And in a dying world, the bonds between people are what matter most.
In this final book in her stunning Under the Never Sky trilogy, Veronica Rossi raises the stakes to their absolute limit and brings her epic love story to an unforgettable close.

I can honestly say that I was super excited to get to read this book early, but I was nervous at the same time. So many series conclusions have been disappointing to me. It's not that I want the author to wrap it in a nice package for me, but I want to feel whole when I'm done wit it, not left in pieces on the floor. I absolutely love this series and really wanted to see how it all ended! And I was not disappointed in the least. I just love how Rossi chose to end this series (despite my sweat and tears getting through it). And rather than leaving a bitter taste on my tongue, as so many trilogy endings have done for me this year, this one has been a ray of light. A spark in my dim night, sunshine when I was only seeing rain.

The cover of this book, as with the others, is truly stunning. I think this one is my favorite. The colors are totally amazing and I love that they continued with the same theme as the previous books.

Aria and Perry as as we would expect them to be, just fantastic. I love their relationship, it's pure but certainly not simple. If you thought they could not grow and change more, you are wrong. Aria learns to trust and let go, to honor herself and those she loves. Perry learns to understand that being part of a larger group is essential in gaining what he needs to save his people, although his trust does get a bit misplaced.
And Roar, poor Roar. I still feel so badly for him throughout this book as he continues to morn Liv's loss of life. And he and Perry, well, they seem to butt heads a bit more in this book, as they did in the last, because they are being stubborn men who can't see past their rage and jealousies. But in the end, you know they care deeply for each other and you know that they would die for each other. I think my favorite relationship of this series it that between Aria and Roar. I love their banter and the way they are able to bounce things off of each other. It's so great that they are able to be friends and Rossi did not introduce a love triangle. Go her for keeping it platonic and making us love them together at the same time!

The plot of this book moves along at a fast pace, as have the others. There is action, adventure, romance, and humor. The mix makes it a tantalizing read. And the conclusion of the story is rounded out nicely with loose ends tied up. I was not left floundering as to what might happen in the future. It wasn't the big bang I was expecting, but I think it was nice to sail into this on an easier current then some of the other books I have read this year.

The journey to the Still Blue is certainly not without its losses. If you think Rossi makes it simple for her characters to get where they need to go, then you are deluding yourself. Without the hardships they face, they would not appreciate the final outcome of their journey. And this journey is long and hard. But the anticipation of what will happen keeps you wanting to get there. I can say there were points in the book where I predicted what would happen, but they were coupled with twists that I didn't see coming.

Rossi has created a story that is unforgettable with characters who grab your heart and run with it. She created a great ending to this series. One that leaves you happy and untethered to an unrealistic future that will never come. I'm sad it's over, but I'm glad to have read it and look forward to what Rossi will bring to us in the future!

*ETA on second read: Not sure why I gave it four stars on my first read through. Definitely 5 and highly anticipating Roar of the Tides!

I feel like I've been a lot more critical of this novel than the rest of the series, but it's also quite possible that it was just less good. I have to say that I'm annoyed that Aria has no important female relationships in her life after
Spoilerher mother's death, but I love that there is no love triangle at any. point. in the story. And with this kind of novel, it's practically a given. I'm also annoyed that Soren was forgiven for his acts in the beginning of the series - I felt there should have been more direct repercussions -but I thought it was funny that even though he was clearly attracted to Aria, his relationship with
SpoilerLaurel was by far the oddest thing in the entire series. I mean seriously. He's so bad at being a decent person. SO BAD.

5 out of 5 stars
The conclusion to the Under The Never Sky series was one of my most anticipated books of 2014.

In Through The Ever Night Aria, Perry and Roar were faced with several challenging situations, including the loss of a loved one. Perry goes through a time when he questions how much Aria really loved him in the wake of her leaving without a word, and this could have very well weakened their relationship and love for each other.
Perry has finally won the respect of the Tides and together with Aria was able to rescue Talon and Clara as well as Soren and a group of dwellers from a collapsing pod after being left to die there by Hess.

Now Perry and Aria back at the cave must work with both groups, outsiders and dwellers, so they can collaborate with each other and leave their pre-conceptions aside so that they can all look for a way to make into the Still Blue before it’s to late.

First task at hand is rescuing Cinder, who was taken by Hess and Sable to help them cross into the Still Blue given his power over the Aether. When Roar returns it is not the happy reunion one would have expected, Roar is barely talking to Perry and seems pretty furious with him, this doesn’t really helps the matter at all.
Perry and Aria don’t have many other options other than to go after Sable and Hess and try to get what they got if they have any hope of finding the Still Blue.
They need their hovers, supplies, pilots, coordinates and most important of all, they need Cinder.
To successfully carry out their plan Outsiders and Dwellers have to find a way to work together, if though it’s proving hard to do, especially between Soren and Perry.

Aria will run into someone that she never thought she would run into and in the least likely place.
Roar will make a rush decision driven by rage and need for revenge that may end up costing everyone’s life.
Soren will have to decide where his loyalties lie.
Perry will have to trust Soren even when everything inside him is telling him not to.

Even if they succeed Perry will face the impossible decision of having to sacrifice Cinder to get to the Still Blue.
The answer seems simple, their world is a dying world, and dying fast, saving hundreds with the sacrifice of one should be the way to go especially for Perry being the Tides’ Blood Lord.
But when that very grim time comes will he be able to sacrifice his friend to save everyone else and himself?

Into The Still Blue was packed with action and my heart was lodged in my throat from beginning to end.
In Through The Ever Night love gets tested, in Into The Still Blue friendships are and all they have left in the end is the hope that even if they make it Outsiders and Dwellers will find a way to live in harmony.
It was the perfect ending to this epic adventure. I will miss Aria, Perry and especially Roar (I’ve had a crush on him from the very beginning I must admit).

Thanks Veronica Rossi for this amazing story that I will never forget!

Oh, this was a freaking amazing book, sad at bits, because of the losses, but it ended with some great positives, and yeah, I just loved it, and the surprise Aria and Marron planned for Perry!

Even though it took me a while to finish it, it was a great book with ups and downs moment that were in rhythm with the actions of the story. The ending had an epic moment and heartwarming moment as well... loved it

Action packed. The relationships between the characters is interesting and well developed. I only wish there was more of an epilogue at the end.

2.5/5 stars.

I already didn't like Through the Ever Night that much, but thought maybe the final installment would be better. It wasn't.

To say this book is predictable is an understatement. At no point I was surprised by what was happening, and I found myself quite bored most of the time. Also the ending felt suuuuper rushed, but I guess that's what happens when you spend half the book talking and talking and talking about what you want to/are going to do.

As I have said previously, Under The Never Sky, isn’t one of my favourite series, but this final book gave me the closure I needed for the series. When you finish that last page you are satisfied with the ending and where the characters end up. Final books are toughies. I don’t know about you, but I need that closure with where the characters end up, and Veronica Rossi did that very well in this book.

There was a lot of action in Into The Still Blue. Cinder is being held captive by Hess and Sable and Aria, Perry, and others must rescue him. Cinder becomes a key player in this book. One of my favourite characters in this series was Cinder. He was so vulnerable and didn’t know if he could trust Perry. He would run away when he was afraid, but always came back to the Tides. I liked his relationship with Willow and Perry. He finally found a home with Perry until Hess and Sable stole him away.

Between Hess and Sable I thought Hess was the scarier one going into this book, but boy was I wrong. I didn’t end up hating Hess, but Sable? He was a worthy opponent in this book. He had this precise ability to manipulate someone who was completely against him and turn them into an ally.

“Aria couldn’t believe that only children would stand up to Sable. This place, which should have meant survival and freedom, was a prison.”

He was ruthless and well a bit psychotic at times too. Sometimes it’s that psychological edge that makes a better villain than one that uses brute force.

The action doesn’t stop for very long in this book, but it didn’t feel like you were rushing. It just kept on making me read more and more until I finally had to put my book down and go to bed (which was 2 AM by that point).

It turns out that Roar is a bad ass fighter. I always knew he could fight, but in the previous books you didn’t get to see it very much. You got the funny and jovial Roar. But in Into The Still Blue he’s still grieving from the events of the previous book and has a lot of anger to work through.

You also have fighting between the Tides and the Horns, and fighting between the Outsiders and the Dwellers. The end goal is near in sight and both sides are racing to get to the Still Blue first.

“She didn’t want to fight just so there would be more fighting. She wanted to believe—needed to believe—that things could get better.”

The book was intense at times and you didn’t know what would happen next.

I loved this book it was the best conclusion to a trilogy that I have read in awhile everything was tied up well with no loose ends in sight. I loved the characters and the romance even more in this book they just developed so well I loved all aspects of the characters they were just so much better than before. I loved the story it was wrapped up well with some sad moments and plenty of interesting revelations happening I just loved the ending. So overall I loved this book and will be reading moe by Veronica Rossi soon.
