I was reading this book at the same time that I was reading [b:Shades of Earth|10345937|Shades of Earth (Across the Universe, #3)|Beth Revis|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1346494567s/10345937.jpg|15248728] , I now consider both of these books to be connected-as they both neared the end convincing the reader that the love interest was dead-both reappeared by the end. (Last page or so for [b:Shades of Earth|10345937|Shades of Earth (Across the Universe, #3)|Beth Revis|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1346494567s/10345937.jpg|15248728] and last chapter for [b:Into the Still Blue|14288998|Into the Still Blue (Under the Never Sky, #3)|Veronica Rossi|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1372458835s/14288998.jpg|19928978].
Into the Still Blue is the final book in the Under the Never Sky series by Veronica Rossi. This was definitely the best book in the series, which hasn’t happened in a lot of trilogies lately. I had high expectations because I had read numerous rave reviews. Gladly, I was not disappointed.
Likes:
Aria once again grew in strength and skill in this book. She, unlike other fellow dwellers, got rid of the discrimination against the outsiders and moved to make life best for all of them.
Aria is forced to make a sacrifice and comes through with flying colors. I was almost expecting a whining session, but she did the mature, correct thing in the situation and I really liked that Veronica choose that path for Aria.
I cannot imagine how hard it would be to live in a cave and not really be able to go outside, I thought the description of the cave and life in the cave was really interesting!
There was a lot of action in this book as Aria, Perry and others take on Hess and Sable to try to secure Cinder and a way to get the Tides into the Still Blue.
I really liked the way that the series wrapped up. Unlike other series that have dwindled in the second and third book, I would have to say this series got better.
Gripes:
The world-building got better in this book, but that definitely was not a strong suit for this series. I wanted to visualize more on the dweller ships and the Still Blue.

I'm surprised I like this book more than the other two.
I was scared it would end up like Allegiant, but NO it ended JUST PERFECTLY.

i finished the under the never sky series and i can not tell you how sad i am that it is over.
it hasn't quiet sinked in yet that this was the last time i will ever read something new about perry and roar and aria and im glad it hasn't yet because otherwise i might not be able to do anything decent and would just lay crying on my floor.
i absolutely ADORE this series and the plot and the characters. this book was action packed from the beginning to the end BUT I WANTED MORE ARIAxPERRY SCENES THEY HARDLY HAD SCENES IN THROUGH THE EVER NIGHT AND THE HATED EACH OTHER ALMOST THROUGH COMPLET UNDER THE NEVER SKY AND I JUST WANTED MORE SCENES OF THEM
and roar my bby. tbh the only thing that dissapointed me was that roar went from heartbroken to okay in like 50 pages and i really, really had some hope for the scene when perry and roar would talk for real but nope that just floated by like it never happened.
i began to like brooke and soren and i even didnt hate hess as much as i used to but is2g if i could i would have killed sable with my own bare hands.
i really liked that aria met her father and i really like him. i hope they will get to know each other better :)
cinder broke my heart and the scene where perry said goodbye to everyone exspecially aria, roar and talon also broke my heart. its such a great idea to name the land "cinder" and i wish he could be there to see it with them.
im not ready to let go and i dont think i will ever be and i have so much more to say but idk where to start and where to end so im just gonna
