I guess I’m the one with an unpopular opinion. The story is so good. But Tommy Orange’s writing style is not for me! I’m not saying is bad, just not for me. This is a story of intergenerational trauma and connectivity, and I totally missed the connectivity part of it. It felt like individual stories, some more connected than others, but not like a thread over time.
I have not yet read There there and it was on my TBR, I guess I’ll not get to it.
I did not enjoy the read, but it was a good story, and stories loaded with information. This is what’s keeping the 2 stars for me.
