I don't care much about soccer or competitive sports in general but this one was enjoyable nonetheless just for being so over the top. Balls to the wall insane behavior from everyone here. The protagonist is likable and I'm even kinda interested in the other participants!
The reason I finally decided to read the manga was the art style though. I love, love, LOVE the intense close-up shots and dynamic movements.
