3.5 but i liked it more than the first book.

Compared to the first book i definitely felt a improvement in writing a editing. There’s not tooo much difference but what is there is noticeably better.

This is just alot more believable. The charecters aren’t making horrible jokes the entire time, they have them but the timing is better and less frequent. The characters are also sooooo much more relatable and realistic. The situation is a lot more relatable also, the politics aren’t so far out with this one.

This definitely isn’t a book you read to understand or even read to get anything but a lil drama but it’s sosososo entertaining. If your looking a lil cute romcom this will rustic your dreams

DID NOT FINISH: 59%

there’s no way we thought we didn’t need a love confession, almost 60% into the ROMANCE book.

This series should be WAY more popular and I demand that y’all read it! I absolutely adored the first book in the series (The Nightmare Before Kissmas) and was so excited for this one and it didn’t disappoint! The books have such a silly and cute premise (holiday princes!) but packed with heart and heat and discussions of mental heath. I really enjoyed Kris and Loch’s story - so much bickering and bantering because as Loch puts it “talking shite is how we flirt,” The writing is laugh out loud funny and brings the joy and levity I desperately need lately. But there’s also plenty of emotional and tender moments as well, not to mention some fun spice (that paint scene? 🥵). I absolutely recommend this series - it’s a great choice for your pride month reads!
