Back to back books with Loch’s (Irish and Scottish versions).

Sara did it again. Pulls you in with a fun little holiday concept lots of sexual tension then chops you down with real shit like that self depreciating inner voice. Highly recommend both this and the first book Nightmare before Kissmas. Makes me what to take another trip to Ireland!

Sara Raasch you did it again! I wasn't sure how this would stack against Nightmare Before Kissmas - but it strongly held its own!

Kris and Loch have great chemistry and it was just as silly, charming, and witty as its predecessor. The story takes us back in a world where the royal holiday families are mingling magic and politics and the weight of their internal struggles. Kris tasks himself with finding out what the royal family of St Patrick's Day is up to, but in turn finds himself heavily invested in Loch - heir to the magic and title of King of St Patrick's. Coal and Hex make appearances (missed them!) in addition to meeting new characters. I did think the plotline of Kris and Coal's Dad was a little out there, but it certainly didn't take away from the story. While we were introduced to Kris in book 1, we learn more about his struggles with allowing himself to stand up for himself and obtain his own goals. I love that on top of the romance, we also get to go on a journey of growth with these characters. The stories coincide wonderfully together and my only complaint was I was sad to finish the last page. Such a fun read that I sped through with no regrets!
