Very adorable graphic novel. I picked it up for my partner's little sister but ended up reading it before giving to her as I loved the looks of it. The illustrations are absolutely georgous and I'd honestly get it just to look at the drawings hahahaha. I enjoyed the story as well, I thought it was cute and I really loved the ending. I feel like it would be a great book for a parent looking for a book to read to their kid before bed.

I am not a graphic novel reader, and I really wish there had been more writing to give context to the pictures. I am also autistic so that might have played a part. That said, the illustrations and the story itself were fantastic and definitely deserved the 5 stars I gave this book. I loved the isolation the main character felt, even amongst an amazing community and with a good friend. I loved the nature aspect and how the community cared for the moths who kept the tree healthy, which then gave back to the community. A beautiful example of how things in nature rely on each other and create balance in the ecosystem.
