I just love alex
This is the beginning of Alex's journey. We were able to see a bit of his relationship with his mother and what his life was like as a "mortal" and how he got to the point of half blood

Le doy 3,5 estrellas, por una cuestión de que es un libro que nos introduce a Mestiza, son solamente 60 páginas así que no hay mucho que decir creo excepto que es una buena apertura para lo que se viene ⭐️

Daimon follows Alex in the events before and a bit after her mother's dead. We can see how they live in Miami, hidden among humans.
Alex was still kickass in this prequel eventhough she hasn't had training in three years. The boy she was dating (just like her mother I can't remember his name >_When Alex finds her mother's lifeless body in her house things get bad for her. She runs from the house after killing a daimon and tries to find her way to the Covenant. Of course we all know (anyone who has read Half-Blood) that things don't go that well.
I didn't think this was as good Half-Blood but it was likable for a prequel short story.

4 out of 5 Stars
Daimon is book 0.5 in the Covenant Series. Daimon is the Prequel of Half-Blood. Daimon was a quick and enjoyable read. I enjoyed Daimon and can't wait to continue on with the series.

An awesome prequel to Half-Blood.
Alex is a half-blood, half mortal and half pure-blood. Pure-bloods are the children of gods and mortals with powers over the elements. Alex leaves with her mother in Miami after leaving the Convenant, a place to train half-bloods, three years ago. Her mision used to be killing Daimons, turned evil pure-bloods who drink the live force of everyone else, now her mision is to lay low and be normal. But after a surprise attack by two Daimons her whole world is turned upside down and she has to run away, to the only place where she belongs. Back to the Convenant.
Alex is a butt-kicking heroine, I loved her from the very first page. The book was sort but right to the point. It made me to desperately want to read Half-Blood. Luckyly, there was a small preview of Half-Blood!
