A perfect novella with details of Alex’s time leading up to the events that take place in Half Blood! It gave a bit of insight of the struggles of blending in with Mortals as well as being on the run from Daimons. I definitely think it was a great addition to the Covenant books!

Totally loved this very short prequel (80 pages). I have a bit of a girl crush on Alex(andria) who is funny, kick-ass, strong and smart. She is a half-blood (with a pure blood demigod for a mother and a mortal for a father, who she doesn't know....) And this short story has certainly made me want more! So onto the first book, Half Blood....can't wait to finish it, I just downloaded it to my e-reader :)
