This was by far my least favorite out of the series. I read all of these before doing the reviews and I found myself having to go back to review the plot before making this review because honestly I forgot most of the book.
This book reminds me a lot of Alice in wonderland, which is ironic because that's of my favorites. But it reminds me of it in the worst least flattering way. Like it feels more like Alice in wonderland then a book within the Chronicles of Narnia series but it also feels like it doesn't belong in either.
I don't know what it is I just did not enjoy this one. It wasn't the worst thing that I ever read and there were parts that I did enjoy a bit especially some of the parts that did remind me of Alice in wonderland.

I wanted to like this book more than I did. I think if we saw a lot more of the Green Witch, the story would have been stronger. The one section that was a legitimate page turner was when she had the group under her spell, but that was very short lived. Otherwise I found myself regularly annoyed by the obliviousness of Eustace and Jill (though Jill was narratively punished far more than he), as well as the sexism outdated even by today’s standards.
The story around Caspian, his and Eustace’s reunion, and the foreshadowing for the final book of the series was a nice touch.

Randomly picked this up on my kindle. I think some people think this is one of the most boring, or at least the darkest of the Chronicles of Narnia. But I love it. Puddleglum's speech to the witch is worth the whole book. It might be my favorite part of the whole series.
"I’m on Aslan’s side even if there isn’t any Aslan to lead it. I’m going to live as like a Narnian as I can even if there isn’t any Narnia."

Sometimes I forget why I love this book so much and I have to reread it to stop being so stupid.
Bless you, Lewis.
