“Mother Faker” is the first book in the Momcoms series, and I thought it was a freaking amazing read!

I’ve read almost everything Brittanee Nicole has written, and I have to say that I’ve never been regretted picking up one of her books.

However, I also have to say that Beckett and Liv are my new favorite couple of hers.

I don’t know what I was expecting, but I was constantly smiling, laughing, and squealing throughout this read - it literally brought me so much joy!

Beckett was such a grump, but that’s honestly part of his charm. He was a complex character that had a lot of layers, and I enjoyed how dominant, protective, and possessive he was with Liv.

I also loved that he went from not wanting kids to being willing to move mountains as long as it made Liv and her kids happy. There were certain scenes with Beckett and the kids that just made me want to cry tears of happiness.

As for Liv, I thought she was such a lovable, relatable heroine. I’m not a mom, but Liv’s fears about what her body looks like to others is sadly something I have gone through as well.

It was those scenes that made me feel as though I really understood her - and that I wanted to give her a hug. What I loved about this was that Beckett was genuinely obsessed with Liv and thought she was beautiful and perfect in every way, especially when it came to her body.

Their relationship developed so wonderfully over the course of the novel, and I know this is a book I will reread again and again. I highly recommend “Mother Faker” if you need a book that will uplift your mood!

This was very, very fun! Loved Liv and Beckett's story, and I'd read another Brittanee Nicole novel so knew their ending but not their origin, so it's lovely getting the full story now.
Both of them are so different compared to chapter one, and honestly they're very sweet together, and I love that Liv, Dylan, Shay and Delia are all living together and raising their kids. It's a great premise and I want a TV show adaptation please.
A light-hearted, chaotic, beautiful story. I'm immediately reading book 2!
