Pleasantly surprised and looking forward to reading more from, a new to me author, Bethany Maines and the next book.

A Deeper Blue, 3 Colors Trilogy #2, is due out March 18th and book #3, A Brighter Yellow, follows up on April 27th, if you want to binge read them.

ARC Review from NetGalley 2/5 stars

This book read like a bad fan fiction. The basic premise of the book was interesting and the characters were intriguing, and it could have made for a fantastic book, however the execution was lacking. The romance was not quite believable, and the storyline often felt rushed and confusing.

I’m a fan of romance and I’m a fan of fantasy, but this book didn’t quite hit the mark on either.

Thank you so much to Next Step PR for sending me a copy of A Little Red, the first book in the 3 Colours Trilogy.

It is a modern twist of Little Red Riding Hood with supernatural creatures, from werewolves to witches.

It is more of a novella as it is very short just over 100 pages and it's certainly a very fun palette cleanser. I do wish it was longer because this VERY fast-paced. There are plot points that are glossed over simply because the book is so short.

I'm excited to see what happens in the rest of the series as the first book does end in a cliffhanger.

What a book! Panty dripping, shape shifter wolf, alpha male and a sexy strong woman with her own magical powers - cancel your afternoon and start the obsession with this new series from Bethany Maines. Really - cancel all plans. And if you are currently without a partner, charge your favorite toy.
Scarlet is found by her boss, Liam - crying in her Little Red Riding Hood costume. A man had put his hands where they weren't wanted - Scarlet made him pay but not without scrapping her knee.
Liam, a wolf shifter, sees his new secretary and loses it all. Only to discover her smart, sassy personality.
The plot - loved it, even though it did not allow for more sex scenes.
Grab your copy - you will not be disappointed.

Wow! Flove the cover and I just love sexy retellings. Scarlet and Liam made a perfect couple with a fun HEA!

What did I like? As far as retellings go this was a fun one. What started as a Halloween costume turned into an erotic retelling with a better ending.

Would I recommend or buy? I was hesitant to start this series until they were all available but book one was fabulous. My first by this author and I enjoyed it. Four stars of entertainment!

I received a complimentary copy to read and voluntarily left a review.

I really enjoyed my time with this book. It was super fast paced! The beginning felt a little rushed and to insta love for me. I would have liked to see the relationship grow a little more and there could be a little more world building, but overall this is a really fun and quick read. I will absolutely be continuing this series and I really hope to read more of Paxton. I really liked him as a character.
I received this book as an ARC through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

A fun, sexy, modern day twist on Little Red Riding hood. But in this saucy tale, the wolf is a sexy shifter, and Red is his irresistible secretary. An office romance with a supernatural, fairy tale twist, and I really enjoyed this fairy tale twist - lots of interesting characters, and plenty of spice. Liam and Scarlet are far more alike than either of them realize, and their attraction is way more than physical - but their chemistry is scorching. It’s also a good foundation for the rest of the series, of which Scarlet’s siblings will take center stage. Theirs is a quirky, interesting family, and Liams pack has an interesting story as well. The two sides weave together well, keeping things interesting and moving at a good pace. Looking forward to the rest of this series!

This was my first book from this author and I am freaking hooked!! Liam & Scarlet have that forbidden work romance but Liam is so drawn to Scarlet he is not going to let anything deter him from having what he wants and he wants ALL of Scarlet. This book gives you ALL OF THE THANGS! I mean who doesn't love a book that has all the paranormal creatures you could ever ask for and for an author to be able to weave all of them into the story so seamlessly where the story is heightened is fantastic. This is a must read and I cannot wait for the next book!
