I have been trying to read this book for months and thought I’d better try and read it before book three. It is my favourite of the series, Baxter is a brilliant character who made me laugh many times. Especially with the spider and her atrocious people skills. It is violent and gory but it’s humour makes it special and it is crying out to be televised.

Reserving judgement... there's clearly more in store for these characters. I found this interesting enough that I do want to read what comes next.

První výtka, chyběl mi Wolf... Baxterová je dobrá, ale... Jsem trošku rozpačitá, z toho konce.. Něco mi tam chybělo, ale jinak dobré čtivo..

Cole did it again, maybe this book was even better than Ragdoll. Many of the chapters I’ve read holding my breath. The story is (at points very) disturbing, packed with action and very well written. Screwed up thing is how easily this could really happen (and partly already has happened). The story reminds me a little bit of the tv-series ‘The Following’. Also, despite the fact that Cole’s brain must be a scary place, this guy is funny. Multiple times I chuckled reading his dark humor.

I like the relationship development between Baxter and Edmunds. Rouche is (sadly, was) a very nice character as well.

Although not strictly necessary, I strongly advise you to read Ragdoll first. Very curious to see what happens next..
