“Olrik"/
Following on from [b:L'Onde Septimus|19025551|L'Onde Septimus (Blake et Mortimer, #22)|Jean Dufaux|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1385657640l/19025551._SX50_.jpg|27049125], Jean Dufaux, Christian Cailleaux, and Etienne Schréder, come back with the final volume in this plot arc. Once more, Olrik is key to all the happenings, and Blake and Mortimer are again in a race against time to ‘save everyone’.

I really love these adventure stories, grounded in a real world, England of the 1950s, and yet where science has evolved into something else, something 'more'. Jules Verne and H.G. Wells of course come to mind (Jacobs drew an amazing version of the latter’s War of the World) but I would add John Wyndham to this list. I wonder if Jacobs knew of Wyndham...

Coming back to this new addition, yes, it is not exactly the same as the original ones, but you can feel the reverence these artists have for E.P. Jacobs and his oeuvre, and I applaud their efforts.

Mantendo o espírito do desenho, perdemos um pouco da história e do que era B&M originalmente. De resto bom livro.
