"Fall With Me" stands as the third installment in the Sugarland Creek series, offering a captivating and addictive romance that keeps you engaged throughout. From the very start, I found myself deeply immersed and emotionally invested in the story. The narrative flowed seamlessly at a perfect pace, delivering a beautiful, sweet, spicy, hopeful, swoon-worthy, and adorable tale that captured my heart. Brooke's writing style resonated with me, making her an auto-buy author. I eagerly anticipated Landen's story, drawn in by his endearing personality.
The progression of Ellie and Landen's relationship in the book was beautifully portrayed, providing a comprehensive view of their bond at every stage. Brooke's storytelling exceeded my expectations, presenting a unique narrative that I thoroughly enjoyed.
Landen emerged as a kind and patient character, completely devoted to Ellie and willing to go above and beyond for her. His interactions with Ranger showcased his tender side, melting hearts in the process. Although Ellie's initial disdain was frustrating, once her reasons were revealed, it added depth to their banter. Their chemistry post her memory loss was magnetic, and their connection was portrayed with great authenticity. Brooke's handling of the intimate scenes was tasteful and natural, enhancing the storytelling.
The audiobook rendition was exceptional, with Aaron Shedlock and Stella Hunter lending their voices to breathe life into the characters. Stella's narration exuded vulnerability, while Aaron's southern accent added a charming touch. Their performances truly elevated the characters, making them vibrant and engaging.

While this is the 3rd book in the Sugarland Creek series, it's the first I've read. The audio version I enjoyed features Aaron Shedlock, as Landon, and Stella Hunter, as Ellie, in a dual narration style (they alternate chapters and do all the voices in their chapter). They both do a great version of each other's character, so it works well even though duet style is my favorite (where they always do their own character's voice for the entire book). The southern accents are there but not cartoony, and when it's hot, it's HOT! The character development through the story peels back the layers on Landon & Ellie over time, so we learn as we go that their assumptions about each other have some adjusting to do in a way that feels balanced with the plot.
This story starts on a heavier note, and swings back to that feeling briefly in the 3rd act, but in between, it's a fun, steamy romp full of fantastic banter, long term pining, unrequited desire, and rodeo dreams. As I am firmly in my spicy cowboy era, I loved the vibes throughout. The Hollis siblings are funny, engaging, honest, and hard working people who love to have a good time. They are a rowdy bunch, but I was drawn in quickly by their dynamics and love for each other, and I will be catching up on the previous two books in this series ASAP as a result. There is also a suspense subplot in this book that adds a little zing too, and from context clues about the previous books in the series, it sounds like that might be part of the connecting thematic thread of these stand alone books.
If you're an audiobook girlie too, and love a spicy small town cowboy romance, don't miss this series from Brooke Montgomery!
Thank you so much to Brooke Montgomery for the opportunity to review this ALC of Fall With Me!

This was truly lovely. I have been really looking forward to Landen and Ellie's story and it was even better than I imagined. The prologue was hard to read but gave great insight into the past trauma that has affected both Landen and Ellie's lives. Landen is gorgeous in his steadfast obsession with Ellie despite her overt hatred towards him. This was a definite slow burn, with almost half the book spent within the "Ellie hates Landen" phase, but once Ellie loses some of her memories, including those pertaining to Landen and why she hates him, a beautiful, sweet and steamy love story begins. I thought this was beautifully written with plenty of light and shade. The love, banter and shenanigans within the Hollis family provided many humorous and heartfelt moments, and the ripple effect from Ellie's memory loss on her entire family was very satisfying. This is another wonderful addition to the Sugarland Creek series and I'm looking forward to Waylon and Wilder's stories yet to come, and excited to learn there is a Willow Branch Mountain series on the horizon also.

If I haven’t said it once but a thousand times Brooke Montgomerys books always hit different.
I don’t know what’s in the Hollis families water but them boys are something different. Landen Michael Hollis really is a piece of work, we got to see landen throughout book one and two and he was always shown as being a play boy with attitude, but let me tell you, the care and sweetness he showed for Ellie, even when she hated him was beautiful. He respected her boundaries, he saved her life and he showed her how it felt to be loved.
This book was beautiful and kept me up reading till 1:30am.
The story was beautiful, it showed real life events and dealt with trauma in a sensitive way. It was sweet and spicy and so perfect overall.
The more I read about these cowboys the more I’m planning on packing my bags and moving out to a ranch and becoming a cowgirl. If you haven’t read any of Brooke’s books please go do so.
This was a 4 star from me
