I really enjoyed this story! I loved watching these two come together. Ellie dislikes Landen and has for years. Everyone knows about it but no one knows the reason, Landen included. He likes her, she makes his heart skip a beat, and he has changed to get closer to Ellie and figure out why she disliked him or get to change her mind. Then Ellie gets a concussion and doesn't know who Landen is and why she disliked him. Landen likes Ellie and wants to take care of her but he doesn't want to take advantage of her memory loss and tells her that. He is upfront in the fact that she hated him for years but the reason is unknown. I enjoyed that the others around her and Landon didn't let her just go in blindly and let her know that she disliked him for an unknown reason but didn't push her away from getting to know him. They take things slow because of it so this one is definitely a slow burn but it fits situation and characters. Once they break some of that barrier though and decide to take the risk it is great watching them build their relationship and physical connection. I love how Landon would only go so far so fast and wouldn't let them just get lost in the moment and kept her wellbeing at the top of the list and also made sure she was taken care of. I love the banter between Ellie and Landen and how even though Ellie can be ugly with him, he isn't ugly back. I love how he handled himself and all the different situations and then how those actions spoke for themselves. It just adds to the banter and antics between them. I loved the development as Ellie and Landen go from enemies to friends to lovers. It is very well done and had me engaged from beginning to end. I absolutely adored these two and this story and can't wait for more!
The narrators did a phenomenal job with this story and these characters! The accents were spot on as well as the emotions and actions that were portrayed. It was so well done and really brought the story to life and had me even more engaged and enmeshed into the story! This was my first story with Stella Hunter as the female narrator and she knocked it out of the park. Aaron Shedlock is always fantastic and this was another one well done!

I've now read the first 3 books of this series, and I didn't think I'd like the first book (because of the 20 year age gap and because I've never read a cowboy romance before... I'm more of a mafia girly normally.) but I actually loved it and couldn't put it down. The second book was good as well, but this book has been my favorite to read so far. I'm excited for the rest of the series!
The characters in this series is exactly what I'm looking to read. They have that "possessive/jealousy" that male leads have in these books without taking away the women's autonomy. They're respectful of the women in their lives while also keeping that romance hero personality. I normally just tolerate the male love interests in these books, but I genuinely liked these men and could understand their relationships.
The women in this story are described as independent and strong, and actually are. I've read a lot of romance books where they call the female heroine strong but in the story, never show it, she's just a doormat the whole time. Which is fine, but don't call her a strong character if you're not going to show us that. BUT the women in these books are actually independent and can stick up for themselves. There are some moments in the books where the trope would normally have the man save the girl in that moment, and I kept waiting for it to happen, but instead they'd have the girl do it. I love that.
I also like the relationships in the books. There isn't a lot of miscommunication trope instances, which I appreciate as that can make me so frustrated. The couples actually talk things through and talk about their feelings. The men make their feelings known and will have an emotional conversation.
Anyways, I'd recommend this series if you love romance novels but often find them problematic.

I was so excited to finally get my hands on Fall with Me. I was really intrigued about the tensed dynamic between Ellie and Landen. While she showed animosity toward him, there was a clear sexual tension that was present in the previous book. We discovered that the reason behind her dislike if him was so much more than only his cocky personality I thought it was at first.
I’ll admit that I felt the start of the book was a little slow. I thought it would start with the accident Ellie suffers barrel racing that ended the previous book, but we only got to that part around the middle of the book. Either way, I enjoyed the little rivalry that had at first. It was adorable to witness Landen being so far gone for her. At the same time, it was sad to time and time again see her make fun of him and pushing him away. But her still always was there in the important moments and it made him a dreamy hero for sure.
I loved how their relationship transformed after her accident and the induced amnesia. Ellie could finally let her heart speaks for itself toward him. They were truly so beautiful together. The steamy moments were hot, but they also shared an amazing understanding and sweet scenes. They had me starry eyed from their beauty!
I also enjoyed the whole dynamic within the Hollis family. The brothers and sister were supportive, but never missed a chance to tease each other too. This is definitely my new favorite novel in the Sugarland Creek Series. Brooke Montgomery delivered here the perfect romance!
