Landen Hollis went from Night to Day once he laid eyes on Ellie. She turned his world upside down and wouldn't give him the time of day. Sure, she's a little younger than he is, and she despises him for something she refuses to tell him about, but that's okay; he can wait for her to change her mind about him.
I had a blast getting to know Landen and Ellie better in this book. If you have read prior books in the series, you'll know that Landen is one of the Hollis' who works at Sugarland Creek Ranch and Equine Retreat, his family's business, and, with his sister Noah, helps teach up-and-coming barrel racers.
The prologue lends a LOT of insight into the book, but some readers may choose not to read this part of the book due to the content warning of a traumatic death shown on the page (drowning) and the mention of suicide, which I understand can be triggering to some. If you skip this section, you will not be lost, but it may take a little longer to understand why Ellie is so harsh towards Landen.
I am enjoying this series and look forward to the other Hollis siblings finding their HEAs. I recommend this book to readers who enjoy Contemporary Romance, Age Gap Romance, Dislike-to-Lovers Romance, Small-Town Romance, Grumpy/Sunshine Romance, or He Falls First Romance.
Happy Reading!!!

Okay this author is not my favorite when it comes to cowboy romance books, but I’ve been enjoying this series nonetheless. but what the fuck was this ending??? I was thinking this was my favorite book so far in this series, but this has to be one of the worst, rushed, most bullshit ending ever. they get married in a month, we don’t even get to read about it, they’re living together, the house is made, they’re all in love and happy. I feel like I have whiplash. and she just wakes up and all of the sudden she sees clearly that Angelia was manipulating her? like no real realization or doesn’t even talk to Landen first, that’s SO unrealistic. how does she just wake up from passing out and just changes her mind
This was cute! It took a while to get to the spice, but when I did ooooh it was good! I love this series

I truly, truly did not think I could love a couple in this series more than I already loved Noah & Fischer and Tripp & Magnolia, but Landen and Ellie have done it. I initially was uncertain because of the “lost her memory” trope, but it was so well written and handled so well. I’m almost sad I read this in just one day because I want to go back and re read it already and spend more time with them.

Ellie hates Landen because without realising it, he didn't only turn her world upside down but destroyed what she knew.
Landen has no idea what he has done and for him it is lust at first sight - well the first time he can at least remember meeting Ellie. And this does not stop him from getting her to change her mind.
Temporary amnesia when Ellie receives a concussion does change this, but Landen puts the breaks on their developing relationship until she gets her memory back and hopefully tells him where the hatred comes from.
Fall with me is an easy to read novel with great banter and angst between the characters.
This is the third book in the Sugarland Creek series but Brooke Montgomery has written it in a way that it is a complete standalone but if you have read the previous books, past characters make an appearance without you feeling like you are missing out on something.

Please check trigger warnings as this book does discuss heavy topics involving loss and grief.
I discovered Brooke Montgomery earlier this year, and I’ve been binging the Sugarland Creek series.
Landen and Ellie are both dealing with a past trauma. Something that, unknowingly to Landen, Ellie has blamed him about for years. But Landen is anything but a quitter and he never gives up on Ellie. When an accident changes everything, the truth starts to unravel and nothing will ever be the same for these two.
All the stars for Landen, he really stole the show and my heart in this book. It’s really hard to talk about this book without getting into spoilers so I’m going to try to be as vague as possible - Ellie felt really over the top with her hatred sometimes. Even though she knew Landen for years she never reconsidered that the information she heard/believed could be wrong. The pacing of their friendship/relationship was too rushed and just needed a little more time but I think this was hard to navigate as there were several smaller plots throughout this book.
