Loved Ellie and Landon! I enjoyed that she was a barrel racer and him a cowboy. The amnesia trope was semi new to me and I liked it. Kept me on the edge of my seat for sure! Another great sugarland creek couple! Excited for Waylon and Wilders stories next.

NOTE: SPOLERS BELOW

Brooke Montgomery’s Fall with Me offers readers a cozy dive into the world of Sugarland Creek ranch. I loved reading about her barrel racing and of course Sugarland Creek!
The evolving relationship between Ellie and Landon, with its ups and downs, provides a central focus that is both engaging and heartfelt.
This was a sweet love story between the two. I enjoyed the build up of the sex scene but wish it was more intense! I listened to the audio version and LOVED Ellie's voice, she did an excellent job when she had to be Landon too!

The prologue was sad and I am very sensitive but it was safe for me.
At first the names of all the characters are confusing but that can be because I am starting on the third book.
I love how Montgomery skipped time in the book, it helps the time go by faster. However, the pacing of the book felt uneven at times. Chapters like 10 might drag, leading to moments where readers or listeners might feel disengaged.
The whole time I thought that Ellie didn't like Landon because he was with Talia when it happened, then we find out Angela is Ellie's cousin! Plot twist baby! PS Why do I love Easton so much, do we have a book about him?? Ok then we get to the part were poor Ellie has some amnesia, I am happy that its only slight.
It was interesting that Ellie's parents werent too upset when she started dating Landon. I also hope their is a book about Landon's brother Wilder.

Several elements stand out in the narrative. For instance, the twist involving Gage in Chapter 27, adding unexpected intrigue to the plot.
I also kind feel that It wasn't well known when Ellie learned Angelas story was a lie.
Overall, this is a sweet, small town love story lower on the smut scale. Very enjoyable!

All 3 stars go to Landon but even he couldn’t save the complete miss that was Ellie’s character.

Insufferable. Immature. If she had even half a personality while hating on Landon, she could have been redeemed. I actually love a feisty FMC but Ellie came across as a straight up bitch.

And maybe I’m being too harsh, I don’t like writing reviews like this. However, if you’re gonna throw in the amnesia AND miscommunication trope, the FMC needs to have some redeemable qualities.

Landon deserved better. Even Cecilia, who was showing some red flags herself, was a better option.

I’ve really enjoyed the rest of the books in this series so far but this was a flop.

ALC REVIEW
Fall With Me by Brooke Montgomery
Sugarland Creek - Book 3
Narrated by: Stella Hunter & Aaron Shedlock

Fall with me focuses on the story of barrel racer Ellie Donovan and her horse trainer's brother, Landen Hollis. Upon their first meeting, Ellie has an immediate chip on her shoulder and Landen has no idea why - and she won't tell him. This lasts for years, however, he cannot seem to dismiss his pull to Ellie. There was an unfortunate accident that makes Ellie forget her memories, including that she dislikes him. This creates some delicious complications and tension.

Beyond the relationship between the MCs, the side relationships helped create a dynamic storyline that absolutely drew me in. I loved the relationship between Ellie and her horse, all of the family interactions, and the ranch workers.
