Fall With Me

slow-paced

11/10, would recommend. There is definitely more plot over spice, but I really enjoyed it

Honestly had some slight reservations at the beginning when Ellie's hatred was bone deep. BUT damn did I end up loving this.

Landen is THAT man. Head over hells for a woman that hates him for some unknown reason but yet he never wavers. He'll take whatever crumbs Ellie is willing to give him.

Ellie was a bit of a mystery at first. She did end up growing on me though as I got to know her story.

The plot was so good. I couldn't wait to see what was up with the little bit of mystery.

I don’t like the amnesia trope and I felt like this story followed such a weird timeline where it felt really unpredictable what was coming next if that makes any sense. Also I feel like stuff got left open ended and it was really anti-climatic. What happened with Angela and Gage? Also Ellie had saved up $100,000 for Angela?!! That’s so much money I was thinking it was going to be like $5K $10K max but that’s insane. Ellie did very quickly switch on Angela too when she got her memory back which was a little surprising. I did love Ellie and Landen together but this story just wasn’t for me personally.

I am absolutely loving the entire Sugarland Creek series, but I think Fall With Me is my current favorite. Landon is EVERYTHING you want in a MMC, and I loved reading as Ellie started to let him in. With tropes like extreme dislike to lovers, amnesia, and small town romance, this book was perfection! 🤌🏼

Landon so dreamy

What a great book! A fun read! Although Ellie is incredibly annoying in the beginning and you can tell she was stuck and brainwashed in her immaturity because she couldn’t even tell Landon why she hated him. I loved that in the end she saw the errors of her ways and what a great man Landon was and how he stood by her no matter what. Ellie does turn out to be sweet and sassy and fun but you definitely have to get over her in the first 30% ish.
