i really enjoyed this novella, perfect to get in the halloween mood. cannot wait to read the rest of the series with the corresponding holidays!
Spoilerthe little twist in the end was nice. while it is giving a lot of Just Like Heaven vibes, it's a good way to ensure an HEA so i'll take it

*i have never seen hocus pocus so this being a fanfic of certain characters meant nothing to me.

Great Fan Fic!

Awesome fan fiction about Hocus Pocus! I absolutely loved this book! It was short, quirky, and tons of fun! Anyone who is a fan of Hocus Pocus would find this a great read.

Who doesn't need a light-hearted feel-good right now? This is a short, steamy read, with an absolutely sweet male main character. It's one-sided pining and protectiveness until some light paranormal magic happens because we all know the veil is thinner on Hallow's Eve. The twist was just so cute, I loved it!

It's a good time of year to start reading this series (yes, I know I'm late) because it starts with Halloween and hits all the holidays! Can't wait to read the next one.

This is a cute fun read but is most definitely not good.

The MC is not like all the other girls and her super hot unexplainable ghost loves her and they all love the same things except blueberry pancakes.

The grammar was awful and no one proof read this so I will provide the edits:

The apartment never seemed empty, even when it was just me, my e-reader, my television in the background, and a mug of hot chocolate to keeping me from freezing my tits off.

Should have been: The apartment never seemed empty, even when it was just me, my e-reader, my television in the background, and a mug of hot chocolate to keep me from freezing my tits off.
I’’m pretty sure I’ve always had a thing for smart girls.

Should have been: I’m pretty sure I’ve always had a thing for smart girls.

Allison, the bff that barely matters, is also super desperate.
“Maybe I am. You at least have Casper. I haven’t had a man in my apartment since last Christmas.”

The ending is a whole mess of awful...
Because, now that I’m not in a coma, Dani is even more my girl. I just have to get the hell out of this hospital bed and find her so that she knows. Emile is smirking at me. Since I’m still kind of reeling over the fact that Mom saw me get an erection, I throw a hospital pillow at him. He doesn’t even bother dodging it. No point. The pillow doesn’t even make it halfway to him.

This seems like he imagined it? Also- why do we keep talking about him coming and getting a boner in a comma in front of his mom???

Oh well, i enjoyed it overall but sometimes i kept asking myself "what am I reading?".

It's a quick kinda sexy book; supposedly a hocus pocus fanfic, but I'd rather not to think about that while I read, because (1) it was a little uncomfortable ruining my childhood characters haha and (2) the misspelling of Thackery Binx ~Zackery in the book~ made me a little mad every time I read his name wrong.

It's a nice quick read, but I wouldn't expect too much of it.

This book was bananas, but also all my sleep deprived brain could take as I prep for this stupid big test.
