okay, this definitely isn’t as bad as everyone makes it out to be BUT, it isn’t great either😁 its honestly pretty lackluster

elsie just put all she had into Reckless and didn’t leave shit for Hopeless😔

a shame and a scandal if you ask me

loved both characters; really loved Bailey & her growth & personality. also loved Beau but he felt like he went through less growth. as much as i adore every elsie eilver plot, i really hated the virgin trope in this book. Bailey deserved to spread her wings a bit and I wish she could have before settling down. still loved them though

I don't know how each one of these books has been better than the last, but I'm so glad they are and that I kept reading! Even though there is a big age gap, it isn't brought up all the time like it was with Cade and Willa, which was refreshing. Bailey and Beau are precious together and help each other so much. I loved the displays of honesty and the trust. Crossing my fingers therapy was on their to do list after the story wraps up though!

i really really enjoyed this book. it didn’t feel like all the rest where things just happily fell into place so easily or not necessarily SO easy but wo any big struggles. while they fell into the fake engagement easily and like no that’s not super realistic i just really fell in love with beau and bailey being so real. like they both just have such real shit going on and healed each other in such a because way it was hard to not just be fully sucked into their relationship. i also felt really connected to bailey and felt like she was really relatable in a lot of ways even tho our stories are very different i just felt really connected to her. i also loved beau and despite how tortured he is he still wanted to protect bailey and the same for bailey for beau. changing the memories at 2:11 was such a selfless thing for her to do. she was exhausted from work and the town in general and still woke up in the middle of the night to try to help keep beau from suffering through his nightmares. i just really loved how both characters needed saving and didn’t really want anyone’s help yet while trying to avoid getting help from people around them by arranging this fake engagement they ended up saving one another

I love this series and it’s a bittersweet goodbye! The story was a bit slow to start and I have some unanswered questions. I’d have loved to have a longer epilogue with more about the other 4 couples.

I loved Beau and how he was the one to fall first! He’s definitely my second favorite Eaton (after Rhett)
