Ok, book 2 in the Slaycation series is much better than the first! The banter between Cat and Bennett is top notch! They are the picture couple of enemies to lovers. But seeing the vulnerable side of these two was very special. But it only proved how perfect are together.
However, I can’t get on board with their “sexual proclivities”….i will NEVER look at a turkey the same ever again! Honestly, there are a lot of foods this series has given me an aversion to!
It’s a fun read and an even better audiobook. Each narrator played their parts perfectly! Fingers crossed we hear more about book 3 soon!

I love this series so much more than I expected too. There is a good level of spice, it’s a great romantic comedy, and I laughed out loud so many times.

The banter between Cat and Bennett is honestly unmatched. The constant teasing is a great bonus as well, I feel like that really played a part in their relationship development. Like we can hide what we are doing because no one would expect anything to happen vibes.
I loved Ezra and Kindra but I feel like Cat and Bennett may have taken their place on top as favorite couple in this series, sorry not sorry.

Slay Ride focuses on Bennett and Cat’s secret romance at The Slaycation. This one had less cannibalism and killing, which was slightly disappointing. The turkey leg scene made me sick and it just kept getting worse. I much preferred the pineapple scene in Sinners Retreat.
