I read this book during a CoHo buddy read with two of my friends from bookstagram. I went into this book without reading the synopsis and let me tell you it completely blew me away. This book is amazing. The characters, the story line, the visual elements and the art; especially the art!

The chemistry and mystery between Auburn and Owen made me finish this book in less than 9 hours. Both the characters have their flaws and that’s what makes them perfect. And not only the main characters, the side characters had a very important part. If even a single one had been missing, the book wouldn’t have been so amazing.

The story line was quite different. I’ve never been so interested in confessions but now i have different feelings towards the word “confession”. The feelings, situation and circumstances that are behind a confession. The whole plot was filled with romance, mystery and suspense.

Since Owen owns an art gallery, so different pictures of art were also a part of this book. Danny O’Connor, whose artwork is a part of the book is amazing. It adds so much depth to the story and supports the plot. Plus it is beautiful!

The book was filled with romance, suspense, mystery and a lot of confessions. The combination of romance and mystery made the book a light and easy read.

I would’ve given it 5 stars but i had a little problem with it. The book had too much intimacy! Like it wasn’t even necessary at some points. People say every Colleen Hoover book is too “intimate” but this aspect of the book made me cringe.

The writing style is really simple. Colleen writes beautifully and I’ll soon be picking another book by her. Her words are simple yet beautiful.

The book is beautiful.

“Tell me something about you that no one else knows.”

LOVED the entire storyline, but the ending was anticlimactic for me. I needed more drama at the end since I couldn’t put it down once I started.

Miss Hoover never disappoints. Clearly enjoyed this one because I started and finished it in 7 hours.

This is the same old CoHo insta love type story. Girl meets boy and there’s a pretty instant and irresistible chemistry. They both have a tragic back story and they try to build walls around themselves. The plot is pretty predictable but it an easy read and as enjoyable as a trashy film.

I couldn't believe how much I enjoyed this book. Typical Colleen Hoover got all of my feels with this one and I'm okay with that.

This book had me in tears the first few pages ! What I loved most about this book is how Colleen Hoover incorporated real confessions from Anonymous people. It just made the book more realistic! I loved how everything came together in the end the way it did. Still broke my heart , but definitely a good read!

As per usual, Colleen Hoover's writing presents a quick and easy "potato chip" book - something you'd pick up in an airport to read on the flight, or take home armed with snacks to read through on a single Thursday evening. The concept of the art gallery was interesting and made for a strong start but things quickly fell away to an insta-lovey plotline that felt all too much like a trial run for Lily, Ryle, and Atlas (count the similarities, I dare you).

I am so on the fence about C.H's books. Everyone seems to love them - the reviews are too overly gushy!!! And maybe that's my have been disappointed in most of her books. It's like I am reading a different story then the gushing reviewers. So this one has quite a few negative reviews and so maybe that's why I actually liked it?

Yes, I tend to always be against the grain. Oh well.

I liked Auburn and Owen. They were for the most part forced into their situations. They did the best they could. Enough said in my book.

Trey what a douche!!!

Sure there was room for improvement but all in all I enjoyed the book and the Confessions.
