I had some issues with a few cringey scenes, but overall I really liked it, and it had me hooked from start to finish! The ending's beautiful and the paintings in it are a really nice touch aswell

"It scares me to know that there's a chance I've come across one of the few people in this world who could make me feel this way, and I already have to give it up. I'm so tired of having to give up the only things in life I want."
I would give this book more than 5 stars if I could. Colleen Hoover made me fall in love with love and ugly cry at the same time. And the BUILDUP…..
The only thing this book needed is a big trigger warning for sexual assault. The scene caught me off guard and triggered me greatly, and I think a TW at the beginning would’ve made me feel better prepared.

This one grew on me (or maybe its just Owen and Adam and all the art).

I read this book because it was voted Top Choice by Goodreads for romance. I don't really read romance although many of my favourite books are romantic. I seriously couldn't believe that Confess was number one. What an embarrassing example for a genre. It's not that it didn't have any redeeming features, it did, it just wasn't very well written and the first section was complete dross.
OMG! What a book! a 1.000.000.0000 stars! How Colleen Hoover find this ideas and knit into perfection? The writing is perfect, the character tridimensional, angst but full of happy moments too. Do I need to tell that I adore this book?

I didn't love this one. Not because it was bad but because I found it boring. I have a love hate relationship with this author. I want to love her but most of her stuff is just meh to me. I probably will still keep reading her books cause I'm glutton for punishment-haha!
