I enjoyed this book. I felt the characters had depth and I liked the overall plot. I enjoyed the little journey and raging a long. I feel that the stales could have been more intense. However considering I think this book is in YA I thought it was good.

I have a mix feelings with this one. I really like the FL Paedyn and also Kai the ML, but, the plot is predictable and reminds me so much of Hunger Games. There are also lots of plotholes, like something happened out of nowhere and no explanation.
Honestly still confused about the Trials, did they really have to kill each other or what? Did they only need to do the mission then why kill? 🤣😠I'm so so so lost
If you want to read Fantasy Romance that focus more on the romance and fast pace, chill book, then this is the one.
I like the couple, the bantering, it's cute.
Although I'm still thinking whether I should continue reading the second book or not, maybe later when I find the right mood??😅
