I rarely give 1 star but for me, I struggled with this book. I never felt close or connected with any characters, and plot wise I felt like nothing happened. I think (maybe) that the book was trying to make social commentary which is cool, but it really didn't do it well.

DID NOT FINISH: 40%

Felt no attachment for any of the characters, felt bored by the storyline; felt like a character study rather than a novel
