I found it slow moving and boring. Kind of uneventful.

Started off slowly for me and I wasn’t sure if I’d continue reading, but I am glad I did. I typically don’t love books that hop around to different perspectives throughout, but the author did an excellent job with this style of writing. I am really glad I continued on and finished the book. It was an enjoyable read and I actually anticipated when I would find time to read more and finish it.

This book reads like the author couldn’t decide which of 3 narratives she wanted to tell. The narrative-switching didn’t add enough to the story to warrant it. The pacing was slow and I was ready to be done with it about halfway through.

3.5 stars rounded up, and while it was an enjoyable and entertaining read/listen (I listened to the audiobook version)I can’t say it was earth shattering or had any super enlightening nuggets of wisdom. Interesting take on what it might be like to be part of the wealthy elite, but since I’m so far removed from that reality and don’t anticipate ever being a part of that reality… meh..but it was a good enough story to pass the time.

A quick read! I enjoyed this book about a bunch of old money siblings and their in-laws but wish every story/concept had gone a bit farther or gotten more in depth.

I definitely liked that generational wealth redistribution was talked about so much in this book…it’s an important issue to think about and I think this book did a good job at showing how hard it is for people to process the idea.
