I had an idea of what to expect coming into this book because of spoilers on TikTok. It was still absolutely worth the read.
I wish the author would’ve mentioned the MMC‘s wealth a little bit less just because it got repetitive, but apart from that, 10/10. Will probably read again at some point and re-traumatize myself.

This is a beautifully tragic and heartbreaking story. And even though I knew it would be, I still felt unprepared for it. I was absolutely sobbing at the end, but I think this book will be on my mind for a while.

This audiobook is duet narration performed by Lee Daniels and Joe Arden - they both did an amazing job and I couldn’t stop listening to this. They really embodied the characters and made it so much more intense!

What can I say about this book other than, WOW. Heavy trigger warnings, this one's hard. If you're a fan of Haunting Adeline, Still Beating, or even The Violent Kingdom trilogy by Lili St Germain; than you will absolutely love Under Your Scars. My heart hurts, I ugly sobbed, I enjoyed the ride even if it took a piece of my heart along the way. These characters I will think about for a while. Is the book a little cliche in its tropes? yeah, but I loved it. That being said the amount of Batman jokes I made reading this book made me happy as a Batman girlie, so if you dont like Batman maybe dont read this one? lol

My jaw was on the floor for the last couple chapters of this book. I have still not recovered. This book completely wrecked me!!! **Super trigger warning. This book discusses a lot of triggering topics
This book left me staring at the wall once I finished it. Under Your Scars is a book that will rip you apart. It’s not a happy ending and leaves you wanting more for the characters in the end. I do not recommend this dark romance for everyone. It’s extremely dark and has disturbing content that was hard to read at times. Check trigger warnings before reading.
