Imaginative world and characters but I'm not a fan of the language, sometimes it's offensive.

This series is a lot of fun so far, but I wish they were longer. They end as soon as I'm getting invested in the story.

same as the first, read this in one sitting. bought the third volume today. the review on the back that says "the kind of comic you get when truly talented superstar creators are given the freedom to produce their dream book" is correct. the art is BANGIN in this one.

It’s really a shame I didn’t start this series earlier, but at least I’m on it now. It’ll be so exciting to see where this story goes (though it feels like it’s going to be bittersweet af).

I regret waiting so long to start reading Saga! Every aspect of it is brilliant.

Naively, I never thought I would connect to a graphic novel/comic as much as a 'regular' book, because of the lack of content, but I couldn't have been more wrong. The only problem is I'm in the middle of exam season and I want to forgo revision life and lose myself in a world full of horns, wings and not-so-subtle robot heads.

This was a good installation to the series. While I preferred the first one this one wasn't bad. I can see why people really like these graphic novels. As soon as my library gets the other editions I will continue on.

At the end of the last volume, Marko's parents had managed to teleport into the living tree rocketship that Marko and Alana and their new ghost baby-sitter Izabel had escaped from Cleave on. They were quite certain Marko was in trouble and finding him with an enemy soldier and a baby did not dissuade them from that idea.

Barr, Marko's father, comes around to the idea of a halfbreed granddaughter, first. He and Alana bond while Marko and his mother go to grab Izabel, who was temporarily banished.

Meanwhile, the Freelancer The Will teams up with Marko's ex, Gwen, to a) rescue the slave girl from the first book who's powers point them in the direction they need to go to b) catch Alana and Marko, and c) hopefully help The Will find the Robot Prince, who killed his love, The Stalk.

The Robot Prince, who gains a surprising lead from one of Alana's old coworkers, goes to visit an author on Quietus, who is secretly harboring Alana, Marko, Marko's mother and baby Hazel...

I honestly did not realie how much like a soap opera this was until I tried to write out the plot. Honestly, though, I love all of this. Hopefully it won't take me almost a full year to go read the third volume. Lying cat remains the best character.
