I’m not a huge fan of nonfiction but when I found out this was coming out I just had to get it. I finally started reading it yesterday and loved it! Laura keeps you on the edge of your seat as you surf from couch to stained rug or a real bed! Her humorous writing outlines her personality, her struggles, and her successes. It’s also inspiring. She really opens up to the down and dirty of her life, how she changed it, and what she looks forward to in her future. At the end of the day you will want to see more of her online videos, reflect on your own life choices, and wonder how she made it through alive!

I thought this book was hilarious! I knew of Laura Clery because of Facebook and YouTube so I was excited to read her book. It was definitely what I expected it would be (great!). I gave it 4 stars only for the excessive amount of cussing that was a bit unnecessary at times (my personal preference) but I would recommend this book. It focuses on how our mindsets help dictate our success and failures - could not agree more. Thanks for the insights and laughs, Laura!
Laura is so open and honest in the way she writes. I was really blown away by her book.
I love Laura Cleary's Facebook and Instagram videos so when her book popped up on a few book lists I knew I had to read it for her backstory. Humorous and harrowing essays chronicle her growing up, read by the author.
This book had a really high rating on Audible and Goodreads, so I figured maybe Clery was the new Chelsea Handler and I should give it a shot. I made it a chapter and a half. I *think* what's happened is she is popular on Youtube and Instagram, so the ratings are a little skewed by her fanbase. The first chapter and a half were some pretty drawn out stories of growing up in suburbia without a theme or a punchline, and that's when I gave up on it.
I loved everything about this book. Thank you for sharing your incredible story in the most hilarious way imaginable.
