I really wanted to give this book 5 stars but it's obvious that it wasn't throughly edited and there was A LOT that could be cut out making it easier to read and you wouldn't lose anything from the plot of the story. I don't need 2 paragraphs describing everyone's appearance JLA come on.

I wish there was more interpersonal interactions. I felt like especially towards the end, the story was jumping from one action moment to the next and I kind of would’ve liked little scenes in between of the characters hanging out. I also found the beginning to be a little heavy handed since the world building was basically Poppy asking questions and being told about the world.

That being said, the plot was wild. I’m very interested to see how the next three books go.
