This was a sequel that was long in the waiting (and I will admit I was surprised that it came out at all after the delays).
I was afraid that [b:Hyperbole and a Half: Unfortunate Situations, Flawed Coping Mechanisms, Mayhem, and Other Things That Happened|17571564|Hyperbole and a Half Unfortunate Situations, Flawed Coping Mechanisms, Mayhem, and Other Things That Happened|Allie Brosh|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1409522492l/17571564._SY75_.jpg|24510592] was lightning in a bottle, and that it would be hard to follow up (I mean, a person's life can only house so much weird and quirkiness - right?).
Nope, I was wrong - 2nd essay in "Richard" (where our hero decides to familiarize herself with her neighbour in the best possible way) had easily proven that Brosh did not lose any of the magic.
A definite mood-lifter-upper (and cheaper than Xanax).

Despite having not read anything of hers outside of her original book five years ago, I am surprised to say my thoughts are roughly the same. Allie Brosh manages to make you laugh out loud and hit hard topics. Yes, there are some sections I thought could have been omitted, but those could have been someone else's favorite and honestly, that's the point of comedic bits.
