A harrowing sequel to a sapphic retelling of a Sleeping Beauty. I was blown away with the world building and complications that arose: political alignments, brimming war, the sleeping curse that was more and less than what it originally seemed. I was thoroughly invested in Alice and Aurora's continued stories, their fight for love and freedom...but in the end, were the costs worth it?
