The pacing of this book is frustrating, the first half is so slow and then the chapters move so fast in the second half. I finished the book being so annoyed and then i read the epilogue and the last paragraph brought me to tears ?? talk about a rollercoaster of emotions

After I finished reading the ARC of book Malice in fall of 2020, I honestly had no idea where the story would go in book two, and wow. This was certainly not what I expected, but in the best way. The development of Alyce's character in this book was soooo good. And the story was just... *chef's kiss*. I don't want to say anymore, because this is the kind of book that I think you should go into completely blind, but if you haven't read Malice yet, you should definitely do so before this book releases in May.

I recieved an ARC copy from netgalley.This actually gets a 2.5 star review from me. This started out so promising, and ended up feeling so clunky. It felt like the author didn't know where they were going with this book, and it flounders all over. The first book was amazing. It was 5 stars for me. This one however, just was a miss. There was too much.

i don’t care how it ended, alyce and aurora ended up together and you can’t tell me otherwise or else i’ll start crying. they love each other and that’s how it’s gonna stay for me. goodbye.
