Much more satisfying than the last. Pacing was good too- only complaints being that the ultimate villain death seemed anticlimactic and the immortality reveal was shoved in at the very end. But it was a lovely read overall

“Live while you can, for tomorrow, we face the darkness. One that none of us may come back from.”

The very reason Sienna came to the supernatural world is gone. Her “brother” has been killed, and there was no way to heal him, even with her newest powers. The war for the vampire crown is imminent, the Hunters (controlled by the vampires) are loose and heading toward the werewolf lands, and she and Dominic are not speaking. Meeting, after war planning meeting, the werewolves, vampires, and I reach a tentative peace since we are working towards the same end goal, to get rid of Edmund and replace him with Will on the throne. Sienna calls upon all of her hidden reserves to mend her heart, hold the ones she loves closer still, and to keep her head held high.

We’ve reached the end of Sienna and Dominic’s story with this book, and the series will continue next with Diana, Queen of the Werewolves. Lots of spice when Dominic & Sienna return to their love, lots of violence (although it’s not dwelt on), and some humor with the addition of our seer, Myrr. This story really wrapped up tight, we learned, as did she, more about Sienna’s powers, and what she was truly capable of, more about the Hunters that are controlled by the vampire King, and some backstory on Diana. The only question I have left is who the “voice” was that was using Myrr! There are several side characters I hope we get to learn more about, and many more species that I hope to meet in the future stories. This story was a little slower than books one and two, but there was a lot happening, and I absorbed it all.

A truly enjoyable series.

The books are short-ish, and light reading but with action, romance, some suspense and plot. Definitely will continue the series, its worth the time!

@hijinksink @authorshannonmayer and @bookofmatchesmedia thank you for sending me an arc and having me on tour! All opinions are my own and honest.

I devoured Claimed by Fate in one sitting. I started the book in tears and over the chapters, it slowly stitched my heart back together. The found family in this series is really what makes you fall in love. Following Sienna and Dominic as they learn to love and lean on each other is just *chefs kiss*

The series is complete now, so start it today!
