It's a strip about a [pipe-smoking:] cat and a girl who worries too much. Add in various zombies (including Joseph Beuys), hipsters and paint-drinking and you've pretty much got it covered.

Curiously, I found reading the comic online a little more enjoyable than reading it in book form. I can't exactly say why.

Still, if you're not afraid of having to think about references occasionally - particularly applicable if you're not American - then this is definitely worth checking out. When it's good, it's superlatively so.

Cat and Girl are true heroes. I have loved them online for quite some time, but my friend Henry's ownership of the print volumes has enabled me to transfer that love to the physical realm. Not in a dirty way. Get your minds out of the gutter, all y'all.
