This book was good, but too hard to get through due to lack of punctuation and structure. Paragraphs are long run-on sentences with commas to break up talking between characters and narration.

So many moments where I felt grossed out of my mind, helpless, elated, paranoid, anxious, incredibly angry, and heartbroken. I loved this book more than I expected—a lot more. The characters are so complex and so heartbreakingly pathetic I wanted to cry. If we face an actual white blindness, I wouldn’t doubt that the world will become an exact replica of what was depicted in the book. At first, I didn’t like the writing style, but I ended up discovering a new style that I love. A book that I know I will be thinking about years from now!

3.5 I enjoyed the read, however felt that the last half of the book dragged on a bit. As well, the ending seemed a bit anticlimactic. Although I do feel the author grasped the animalistic behaviour of humans when disaster occurs.
