A sometimes sobering, sometimes thought-provoking look at many things we hold true about humanity. “They were not pigs, only a blind man and a blind woman who probably knew nothing more about each other than this.”

Welcome to the drop club. Where I try really hard to make sense of books which annoy me far too much to finish. This is... Well it's got no character development. No well rounded characters at all. It's survival horror with some social commentary. Much of aforementioned commentary is outdated and ugly. Man gropes girl and dies cuz she kicked him... The book blames the girl. Random connections are made throughout the book but all come to nothing. This was more interesting as a book concept than anything else.

When I heard about this book years ago I was very excited. I didn't expect anything like this. Dropped at 40%, before having to hear the author describe wives and mistresses becoming sisters....
