I think I need to take a break with this series because I’m starting to get bored of the repetitive jokes.

I literally laughed out loud at several jokes. It’s a very entertaining addition to the series.

I love these characters and it was a much needed break from the heavier books I was reading, but it just didn't bring me quite as much joy as these stories usually do.

This is a fun little volume, with a bunch of bonus chapters at the end. For the most part we focus on our usual shenanigans and we see a lot of side characters and meet some new ones that I figure will be recurring. Food seems to be a focus in a lot of the chapters in this one.
The bonus chapters include two "zombie attack" chapters, a super-short chapter from the perspective of a hamster that appeared in an earlier chapter in this same volume, and a longer chapter done in a different art style, as it's meant to be an episode of Miku's favorite anime, PoliCure. It's all a lot of fun, and I'm excited to be on my way to catching up with this series!

With the world of the manga expanding its cast, Vol. 8 has more opportunity for fun stories as it continues its episodic nature--plus some bonus stories with tv shows and one inconvenient zombie apocalypse.

Could have done without the extensive Policure part at the end but otherwise great.
