5/5⭐️

When in Rome is a wonderful cozy romcom that had me giggling and craving pancakes way too often. It is a fun read and the characters show constant development, overcoming their initial fears and hold-backs.

I started this book without having read the blurb carefully and thought Amelia “Rae” Rose actually flees to Rome, Italy. Instead I discovered she settles for Rome, Kentucky. However, even if I wanted an Italian Romance, I ended up falling in love with this small town romance in the charming town of Rome.

Both Amelia and Noah had amazing POVs and I can proudly say this was the first romcom I’ve read in a while that didn’t make me want to put my book down from second hand embarrassment. The dialogue and story flows easily and most importantly it is very realistic!

Overall I loved it and I can’t wait to read the stories of Noah’s three sisters! I can already assume who the love interest will be for each

This was a light, fun read. I liked the characters and the little town of Rome.  Wish it had been a touch more spicy.

When in Rome delivers a delightful mix of romance tropes — grumpy/sunshine, forced proximity, and the famous-person/normal-person dynamic — wrapped up in a cozy small-town setting. When burned-out pop star Rae Rose lands in Rome, Kentucky, she ends up staying with a pie shop owner who wants nothing to do with celebrity life. What follows is a charming, slow-burn romance full of flirty banter, heartfelt moments, and two people discovering how well they fit together despite their very different worlds.
