I loved the illustration.
The plot/themes felt oddly regressive, with echoes of colonialism as the adventurers set out in search of an enlightened underground civilization which evolved separately from ours, only to be met with irredeemable and unfathomable chaos and evil. Hmmm, where ya going with this?
