her best friend feels like she was js there for diversity points fr 😭 whenever she was mentioned it would always be about her advocating for bipoc women in stem like yes girl go get em 😍 but it was js so over-referenced it js felt like she had no depth at all 😭 same goes for other characters w/ having 0 depth… i only gave it a 3⭐️ cs it was giving romcom vibes and was fun and lighthearted, otherwise it had 0 substance 💀janaya's review against another edition

As always with Ali Hazelwood, it’s a lovely STEM romance with a bit of spice. I loved that he was as unsure as she was and that the science is always accurate enough not to annoy me as a fellow biologist!

Una escena de sexo bastante descriptiva. Y una escena de acoso por parte de un profesor a una alumna (ambos mayores de edad).dianapendragon's review against another edition

Rating : ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I had been putting off reading this book for so long, and now I wish I hadn't. It was a wonderful introduction to the world of Ali Hazelwood books. I found this to be the perfect light read/palate cleanser! It was cute, quirky, and enjoyable. I loved the FMC's inner monolgue and both Olive's (FMC) and Adam's (MMC) banter and sense of humor. I also really appreciated and loved the representation of women in STEM. I feel like we need more books like it that can represent this underserved subject. I did wish there were a few more physical descriptors of the characters, as I did not really grasp what any of the characters looked like other than generic traits, and I did feel like the "big" event at the end was a little rushed and undetailed. BUT, overall, I really liked this book! It was just what I needed... a quick, fun read!
